The sealing surface material and its processing state have a great influence on the leakage of the high-pressure ball valve. The method to ensure the sealability of the link is to fit the two surfaces together so that the remaining gaps on the surfaces become the shape of pores to prevent fluid from passing through. The size of the remaining gap depends on the microscopic unevenness of the sealing surface. The surface treatment state related to the connection of the sealing surface of the high-pressure ball valve: the deformation of the wave crest, the change of the size and the sealing gap, and other phenomena all occur on the metal surface. 1. The influence of the quality of the sealing surface on the sealing performance
When the specific pressure on the sealing surface is below 40MPa, the quality of the sealing surface plays a decisive role. When the specific pressure on the sealing surface is small and the surface roughness is large, the leakage of the fluid increases rapidly; when the specific pressure on the sealing surface is large, the influence of the surface roughness on the leakage is significantly reduced. This is because when the specific pressure is large, the wave crest compression on the sealing surface is more significant than when the specific pressure is small, and the difference in roughness of each level between the sealing surfaces becomes less.

2. The width of the sealing surface
The width of the sealing surface determines the length of the capillary hole. When the width increases, the movement stroke of the fluid along the capillary hole is lengthened, thus increasing the movement resistance. Enlarging the width of the sealing surface can reduce erosion and wear in the high-pressure valve. After the width of the sealing surface is enlarged, the length of the leakage stroke will increase proportionally, so the leakage can be reduced proportionally.
